Full Time Warehouse/Service/Delivery Professional

Our full service Warehouse in Albany, NY is growing! Mooradians is seeking a full-time Warehouse Professional to join our Warehouse/Delivery/Service team. This position is guaranteed 40 hours per week with benefits after 90 days of employment. Starting hourly wage of $11.00/hr with bonus opportunities. Work schedule details:

  • Hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Move furniture in warehouse and showroom
  • Deliver furniture to customer locations throughout the Capital Region and beyond
  • Drive, operate and maintain delivery trucks
  • Perform minor maintenance duties as assigned

Required Skills/Attributes:

  • Must possess a clean NYS Driver’s License (no DWI/DUI, prefer no speeding violations)
  • Ability to lift heavy items
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow directives
  • Self-directing and self motivating abilities

Full-Time Sales Professional/Design Consultant – Clifton Park, NY

Mooradians Furniture is expanding in our Clifton Park, NY location.  We are seeking a professional to join our Sales Team where you will assist our customers with fulfilling their decorating needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet and guide customers throughout our showroom
  • Ability to quickly learn manufacturer’s specifications and be able to provide product education to the consumer
  • Assist customers with furniture selection, including size, color and/or pattern choice
  • Ability to create and process both regular and special orders
  • Responsible for tracking customer orders from point of sale to delivery
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all our customers
  • Must be willing to work 32-40 hours per week, including nights and weekends!

 Part-Time Customer Service Professional – Clifton Park, NY

Mooradians Furniture is expanding in our Clifton Park, NY locations.  We are seeking an entry-level professional to join our Customer Service Team.  This is a part- time clerical position (9.5 hours / 15 hours) and the days/hours needed are as follows:

  • Wednesdays:  4:30pm – 9:00pm (4.5 hours)
  • Saturdays:  3:00pm – 8:00pm (5 hours)
  • Sundays:  Alternating Sunday (work every other Sunday) 11:30am – 5:00pm (4.5 hours every other week)

Training pay is $9.50 per hour.  After training, pay is $10.00/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls to Mooradian’s
  • Perform Data Entry duties into various application/systems, as needed
  • Check out customers via cash register; including processing checks, cash and credit cards payments
  • Perform filing duties, as needed
  • Assisting customers with scheduling dates for delivery/pickup

Part-Time Maintenance Professional – Albany, NY

Mooradians Furniture is expanding in our Albany, NY location.  We are seeking a Maintenance professional to join our Maintenance Team.  This is a part- time position, working 20 hours per week:

  • 4 days per week, 5 hours each day OR
  • 5 days per week, 4 hours each day
  • Must be able to work on Saturdays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Weekly cleaning of showroom to include dusting and vacuuming
  • Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of restrooms and kitchen area
  • Garbage removal from all workstations and common areas
  • Ensure supplies are well stocked and/or on order such as cleaning, bathroom and kitchen supplies
  • Assist Designer with moving/lifting furniture and décor items in showroom and warehouse areas
